Our Story

After serving in the Marine Corps with Bravo Company 1st Battalion 1st Marines, I wanted to do something to honor not only my Marine Corps brothers, but our military brothers & sisters as well. After a few challenges when I ETS’d (Expiration of Term of Service) from the Marines, I decided it was time to pursue my college degree. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Government, I was able to work from the Department of Defense. While working for the DOD, my wife Ofie & I were blessed to learn she was pregnant with our first child, Walker. The DOD had me traveling quite a bit and it was hard during Ofie’s pregnancy and after Walker’s birth. I decided it was time to stop traveling and spend more time with my wife and family.

After some different jobs and career changes, one thing was always a constant in my life, my desire to cook BBQ. I started cooking BBQ at restaurants in high school in the Texas hill country and have loved BBQ’n ever since. Cooking for friends and family for the past 25 years, we decided it was time to start a business doing what we love to do. Not only did I start this business to cook BBQ and serve others, but to be able to help serve America’s Veterans and military families as well. I have dedicated to donate portions of Bravo Company Barbeque and Catering’s proceeds to Veteran’s organization we partner with. Our passion is to cook BBQ and help Veteran’s and military organizations. I named this business Bravo Company Barbeque & Catering to honor my 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Weapon Platoon brothers from Bravo Company 1/1, but want to honor all of our military brothers & sisters through our cooking and serving.

My wife Ofie & I now live in Kyle, Texas with our 3 sons, Walker, Waylon, & Weston. We would be happy to help you with any catering needs y’all need. It would make us happy to serve you.
